This segment was aired on KQED as a part of a special Spark! broadcast in Spring, 2014.  Two decades ago former engineer Ann Woo founded Chinese Performing Arts of America, in San Jose, to hand down the Chinese culture she loves. Today the organization Is a professional performing troupe, an arts-education center and a multicultural arts incubator helps traditional and contemporary artists create new works.
